Green Feng Shui Purse

Color: Quiets the Mind – Soothes the Soul

Our world is a beautiful abstract of colors. Colors elicit human response. Whether it is at a conscious level or sub-conscious level, the anatomy of color effects us emotionally, psychologically, spiritually and physiologically - at various levels. It is therefore, beneficial to plan an environment you feel good about coming home to; one that soothes the spirit and regenerates the soul. How can you achieve this? Simple, through the use of color! Color is a single, quick and easy ingredient for transforming an ambience of a room!

Colors that lend a sense of relaxation are cool blues, teals, lavenders, purple, cool greens, navy blue and white. You can do this relatively inexpensive by changing the paint color of a wall or introducing cool colors through accessories as those of area rugs, vases, pillows, fabrics and candles to complement your theme.

You can also create an ambience for rest and renewal by introducing colors that symbolize your personal nature element. To lessen the intensity of color on the emotions, elemental colors can be used in pastels and subdued hues. For example, if the color of your nature element is green, select a green that has more blue in it as that of teal or turquoise. (To find your nature element, contact Lifespace Int’l. and “Ask Lifespace”).

It is also important to consider the amount of natural lighting in the room. Cool colors can create a sense of coldness; so if your room is positioned in the north direction, adding a predominance of cool colors can create an uncomfortable and less intimate ambience. Tranquility in a room with a northern exposure is best achieved by introducing a minimal of accessories in cool hues.

The Fundamentals of Feng Shui

Feng Shui is the ancient Oriental art of object placement. Believed to encourage chi, or energy, flow, Feng Shui can positively affect health, relationships, career, and finances. Just five years ago, Feng Shui was virtually unheard of in the West. Today, Feng Shui’s popularity has soared predominately due to the efforts of one woman, Lillian Too–publicly acknowledged as "the face of Feng Shui worldwide." Lillian Too’s books on the subject have become international best-sellers. Element is proud to present The Fundamentals of Feng Shui, a comprehensive compilation of eight Lillian Too titles, plus additional Feng Shui instructional and introductory sections. Witty and wise, Lillian packs this full-color illustrated compendium with absolutely everything you could possibly need to know, including: * The origins, principles, and practice of Feng Shui * The two major schools of Feng Shui, the Lo Shi Square, the Kua Numbers Formula, Dragon’s Breath and Poison Arrows * Optimum placement for landscaping, furnishings, and energy * Feng Shui "cures" and "antidotes." With specific sections devoted to wealth, fame, health, children, education, networking and career, you’ll turn to this lavishly illustrated cloth original for success in every area of your life! Here’s just a few of Lillian’s tips: * Wealth: Add richness to any room with the Chinese jade plant. Its succulent green leaves are symbolic of success. * Love: Check romantic compatibility with the Kua Formula. * Fame: Place eight special symbols within the home for fame. * Health: Position your bed for a restful, restorative night’s sleep. * Children: Place your child’s desk in the West for great grades. * Education: Carry a crystal to boost memory. * Networking: A decorative urn near the door welcomes mentors. * Career: Hang windchimes in your workspace to attract businesses, promotion, or success. This great guide has something for everyone! Authoritative, yet accessible, The Fundamentals of Feng Shui even offers step-by-step photography on exercises to encourage positive energy.

Feng Shui for Love and Romance

Feng Shui for Love and Romance

$3.48

The Chinese have known for thousands of years that, if you arrange your home and property in the right way, you can attract positive energy into your life, including love, romance, and friendship. In Feng Shui for Love & Romance, Richard Webster reveals small changes in your home that will make major differences in your life. Feng shui is amazingly simple and inexpensive. Simple charts show the traditional associations with different parts of your home. Do you want your partner to start listening to you? Display some yellow flowers in the Ken (communication) area of your apartment. Do you want to bring more friends of both sexes into your life? Place some green plants or candles in the Chien (friendship) area. To attract or recapture passion, bring touches of red into the K’un (feelings) area of your home. Red is the strongest and most stimulating of the colors, so be careful not to go overboard! Balance is the desired goal. In Feng Shui for Love & Romance you will learn we are all associated with one of the five Chinese elements (Wood, Fire, Earth, Metal, and Water). A simple chart indicates your element, determined by your birth date. People of certain elements are good matches for you while others require extra work. But, don’t worry, simple cures for complex relationships are included. If you are looking for a new love, to rebuild or strengthen a relationship, or to just get some new friends, this book has the answers. Get your copy now.
