The Pan The compass shows all circles and lines of the earth, and is used to obtain information on the landscape surrounding someone's home and office, and to elaborate on the geomantic tables.

Lo Pan is composed of circles, whose numbers can reach 36 in some cases. Each circle is used to study a particular aspect of feng shui. There are three types of pots Lo: School San He, San Yuan Zong school the He (Combined compass).

All the feng shui compass has a circular pond with a sky sensitive hand in the center. The pond is surrounded by the sky Bagua Circle Sky with protective properties. The rest are circles with the old formula feng shui. All this is placed in a red square. More compass data more accurate. Accuracy is very important if you use the formulas by which the difference of 1-2 degrees could change the whole feng shui.

The following are the requirements for a quality compass: the disk with the formulas and Sky Pond should rotate freely. The crossing of the red wire should be directly above the needle. If you align the final drive to 0 degrees on one side of the wire, the other end must point to 180 degrees. If all these conditions are fulfilled, then it is a good quality of Lo Pan

In Feng Shui, there are two main directions – the form and the school Compass School.

Form School takes into account the landscape surrounding a home, as a manifestation of four animals. A large black turtle (a mountain) is located behind the building. A Green Dragon (mountains or large trees) is located on the left (if you stand with your back to the door). A white tiger (in trees) is on the right. A red phoenix (a stream or river) is in front of the house. The form of the School of Interior is based on the comfort and safety.
