What is really energy? People talk about things that steal their energy , but I don’t get it.?

Ok, so I know how it feels like to be tired and down, or have much energy and be full of life and happiness. But often you hear people say, she is stealing my energy, or that gives me energy, I get that too, and I know I usually say that.
But what energy are we talking about, can someone explain? I know there is no “correct” answer..
Is that the same energy that people who know a lot about for example feng shui are talking about, or qi gong? I still don’t understand..

I think one way to describe energy in the context you have given is to think of energy as “personal resources”
from a chinese medical perspective part of your energy you have inherited through genetics – some people are born with a lot of get-up-and-go while others tend to be more frail and perhaps sickly.

the other part of the energy puzzle has to do with getting adequate exercise, rest and nutrition so that one’s resources can maintain vitality and health
