How do I practice Feng Shui if the bed I’m going to buy is metal and Earth?

I’d like to practice Feng Sui to improve my life, but my bed is Earth, metal, and fire. I’ve read that metal destroys Earth, Earth dampers fire, and fire burns wood. Now I don’t know what to do…
you overanalyzed it and you kinda misunderstood it.
first, the kind of bed has nothing to do with fengshui. putting your bedroom in a specific location in the house is fengshui. basically you need to have a current mountain star (using flying stars method; mountain star is for health; and current means from period #8, which we are in right now until #1 (which includes #9) – these are future stars; current(8) and future(1 and 9) stars are considered as current, as opposed to being expired or having bad luck). but you need something with a good combination too aside from having a good mountain star. this varies from house to house, depending on the facing degree of your main door.
in fengshui there are 5 elements: fire, water, earth, metal and wood.
these elements interact and react with each other when they combine.
the enhancing cycle: fire (enhances) earth – metal – water – wood – fire
when enhancing cycle go backwards, it becomes the destroying cycle: fire (destroys) wood – water – metal – earth – fire
so when do you usually use this? when you draw the flying star chart of your house, you analyze when the elements combine to form new energy.
each energy is represented by a number to make analysis easy.
1- water
2,5,8 – earth (each has its own distinct characteristics)
3,4 – wood (one is a plant – small wood, the other is a tree – big wood)
6,7 – metal (also different from each other)
9 – fire
3 groups of 1 to 9 revolves around a 3 row by 3 column like a tic tac toe grid. there is a pattern to follow. so each box should end up with 3 numbers – these combinations will determine the characteristics of the energy inside your house depending on what location it is in. the combination can have a total good energy or a bad energy. of course you want your bedroom to be in a good energy combination with a mountain star that is current to give you good life (from the energy), and good health (from the current mountain star).
this is partly what fengshui is about. partly, because fengshui has many methods.
