Feng Shui Goldfish Number
Goldfish & Feng Shui?
From my understanding, the idea number of goldfish for a Feng Shui tank is 8 ( 7 gold & 1 black goldfish). However, I have a small living space and can only have a small fish tank. Is their a lesser number of goldfish I can get with the same or similar Feng Shui benefits?
Just remember that goldfish need 5-10 gallons of water each. You would need a very big tank to get the Feng Shui number. I think your best bet is to go with the black one since, as previously stated in another answer, that is the one that absorbs negative energy then maybe get 2 gold ones. 3 is still a very good number when it comes to Chinese folklore and luck. You could also get smaller tanks and try putting them where ever they fit if you still want to try for the full 8. (My younger brother has tanks in his living room, spare bedroom, bathroom and bedroom. His tanks are massive and he doesnt have goldfish but on a smaller scale this could work well for you.)
