Feng Shui Body Parts

feng shui body parts
What do the body parts have to do with the feng shui bagua?

I understand that different parts of the bagua are associated with different body parts. Such as prosperity being associated with the hip. But how does this apply and what is the significance?

The Ba Gua is simply reference to the eight directions, north, south, west, east, northwest, northeast, southwest, and southeast. Each direction is associated with a body organ. In feng shui, when you are suffering from specific illness we can check the associated direction of the house to see if there is any problems in that direction/locatioin.

The following is a list, not an extensive list, but you can have an idea of how the system works.

Northwest – Head and Lungs
East – Feet
North – Ears, Blood, and Kidney
Northeast – Hands and Fingers
Southwest – Abdomen and Stomach
Southeast – Thighs, Buttocks, and Lower Back
South – Eyes and Heart
West – Mouth, Teeth, Tongue, and Chest

To apply it to Feng Shui, let’s look at an example. Let’s say you are suffering from a heart problem. Generally, then you should check the southern part of your home to see if there are an sha chi, negative energy, affecting the area. Also, this year the #5 Disaster Star is located in the South, so more people will suffer from eye and heart related disease this year.

Good luck.
