Feng Shui – what is the correct facing for my building?
My apartment building is on the edge of a peninsula – this peninsula essentially contains the downtown core of my city. On the north side, there is the entrance to the building – this also faces towards the downtown core. On the south side, there is a waterway, which is the water in between the peninsula and the mainland. This south side also happens to face the rest of the city.
The north side is where the closest human activity is because that’s where people come in and out of the building. However, I think it is designed to face the south side because of the nice view.
So the question is – which one is the correct building facing?
FYI – no I’m not lucky enough to actually have an apartment facing the south view although I wish I did!
depends on many things like:
- your birthdate
- facing of the main front door of your building apartment (not your unit)
- when did your apartment buildin was first used or when was the last time it had a major renovation (at least 2/3′s of the building painted or renovated, or even changed roof) – whichever is latest
- outside human activity is only used when you are using xuan kong da gua method, which i dont think is appropriate for you unless you can change the main front door of the building to get the good chi inside your building.
there is more to fengshui than worrying that your building apartment’s facing is unfavorable to you. you can still super impose the flying star chart of your building unto your unit, and arrange your unit’s area accordinly. to make it even powerful, you can use 8 mansions and water placement concepts to enhance it even more.
