Feng Shui Advantage
All about feng shui?
I would like to know if someone can tell me the good things and bad things in the feng shui, like a list with the rule and it’s advantages and disadvantages. Like your bed can’t face the door of the room, etc.
fengshui is not what most people think it is. it is not about arrangement. most people think that it is about arrangement because the fengshui concepts are not published in any books. so, most writers write about simple fengshui stuffs that do not have significant effect on the lives of the occupants. at the core of fengshui are the concepts, which are derived from the concept of yin and yang.
in my experience, the best way to learn about fengshui is only by taking seminars offered by fengshui practitioners/ masters, who has a long history of fengshui experiences – meaning they designed casinos, malls, etc. because i used to buy many books and scour the internet for free guidelines or diy how tos, but the knowledge you get from free sources or from books does not even come close to the knowledge you’ll get from seminars.
good things:
- life seems easier
- business is always good even when the economy is bad, you’ll feel that you’re lucky, bec all things fall into their right places
- good things keep happening
- less or no small accidents/ unnecessary expenses
- you don’t need to believe it or be aware of it; you just live your life as you want it
- it can attract good money luck, or good health luck
- fengshui is like math, it has its own system; it can be learned like math; you don’t need to be a psychic; it doesn’t need intuition; it is all measurement, calculations and analysis
- fengshui is not a religion, not a philosophy, not a belief, not superstition
- there are more than one way to attract wealth

bad things:
- your house must have at least 67% or 2/3′s good fengshui; thus, applying fengshui just to the bedroom do not work
- the more powerful a concept/ formula is, the more deadly it becomes, when used in an improper way, even if you did not intend to make the mistake; mistakes can occur even to half a degree of miscalculation; for example, water must flow in a 47 degrees inward, when you apply it, because of rocks or the plastic lining, water flows 47.5 degrees, then outcome is different, and most of the time, it is fatal to you, your business and your family 3 generations up and 3 generations down from you. because of this powerful effect in the family, fengshui has a branch which is uncommon to the western world, it is fengshui for the dead. when a family member, usually grand parents are buried, fengshui is applied to their tomb. then the effect is that their grand children will be very rich and powerful. this is still true in taiwan. and there are tombs in taiwan that are protected by the taiwanese government. please note that the fengshui for the dead is not the same as fengshui for the living.
- fengshui has a time element – time coming in or happening has an element that combines with the fengshui of the house. if you made a remedy or temporary cure for a bad fegnshui, the bad fengshui can cause big accidents, because of the right time that happened. that is why, it is better to change a bad fengshui into a good one by renovating it, rather than putting a bagua for a quick fix.
- good fengshui charts that are not properly activated can go very bad. for example, a parent string chart (flying star concept) is not properly activated, it can cause accidents, death and bankruptcy, even if this is considered the most auspicious if properly activated.
what is fengshui like?
it depends on the concept you are using, for example with flying stars, you get the facing degreee of your main door and when the house had a major renovation (at least 2/3′s) or first time you moved in – whichever is latest, then you use these info to “fly the stars”/ calculate. you will end up with a flying star chart. then you analyze, which locations have bad energy combinations, and which areas have good energy combinations. you locate the living room, bedroom and main door at the good energy areas; and put the toilets, kitchen and stairs/hallways/garage at the bad energy areas. then you fine tune or cross reference this with the other concepts. the more concepts support a particular situation, the more powerful it becomes.
if the door, has a more bad areas than good, you can change period or tilt the door to a specific degree to improve the combinations and locations of good and bad energy areas.
if you are interested in learning by books, get eva wong’s book called a master course in fengshui. it is the only how to book that shows you how flying stars is done and applied.
regarding fengshui concepts, basically they are divided into 2 groups: 1). san he has something to do with time like flying stars, and 2). san yuan has something to do with the structure of the environment, like 5 ghost carry wealth/ money (not really ghost, just a name, it has something to do with configurations of facing, mountain and water – to make employees work harder without them knowing it, i know most casinos have this. casinos also have the main doors, so that whenever people come in, they would want to spend a lot. then there will be a secret passage for the employers.
regarding bed can’t face the door is just simple fengshui, which have no power to change your life. this is a part of fengshui that is not taught in fengshui seminars, and the teacher expects that you already know these kinds of fengshui. because it is very simple that most chinese know it.
